The Irish kick-off fall play at Kiawah Island on Sept. 11.
The era of John Handrigan of the Notre Dame men’s golf program is now in its full swing as the Fighting Irish at present are just a week away from its opener in 2017-18 seasons in Kiawah Island in South Carolina.
Under the new leadership, the enthusiastic Irish started to construct their new path, which they think leads to their post season appearance for the first time in four years.
Coach Handrigan said, “I have seen new excitement and energy. These young players have been insisting for new structures and thus, I am here to support them to further their game. The feeling of these boys to learn the game is truly remarkable, and I love their complete devotion to Notre Dame Golf and also their eagerness to succeed in the game.”
At afternoon of Monday, official wrap up of the ‘Q School,’ will take place, which will comprise of six rounds of qualifying for the tournament first fall. The top-two on the travel team players earn their respective spots, while the rest of three spots will be filled by the coach. (more…)Read More →
